The environmental liabilities associated with coal-fired power plants is extensive and requires a thorough understanding of the complexities surrounding proper decommissioning and demolition of power plants to ensure the proper retirement and reuse of the sites for future development in compliance with new federal and state Coal Combustion Residuals (CCR) rules.
